Beach Volleyballers made of sterner stuff

I watched some of the beach volleyball this morning where they were playing in the pouring rain. Maybe we should play through the winter....

"We play in all conditions," May-Treanor said afterwards, before pausing as a grin spread across her face, "it's just another reason why we wear bathing suits."

Tue 12th August - Game on (unless it rains!)

There are at least 6 to play... and I have just spoken to Tony Betteridge - the pitch is fine at the moment, but any more rain before lunch and it should be cancelled.

Game off today unfortunately. The forescast is for heavy rain showers and not many people said they could play anyway.

Friday 16th...Game Off

It doesn't look like the sun is going to come out and the field is too wet so unfortunately I'll have to call the game off.

It looks like a few people want to play tomorrow (16th) but the weather forecast is now for rain. I'll see how it looks tomorrow morning and let you know. Fingers crossed!

The weather is looking good and there are enough people so game on. If anyone hasn't said they would like to play but they still want to please feel free to come along.

First game of the season!

The first game of the season will hopefully be lunchtime Friday (9th May) but we need more recruits! If you know anyone that might be interested point them to the blog or give them our email address.

I've set up this Blog so that we don't have to continuously bombard you with emails letting you know whether games are on or not.

I'll try and keep it up to date with dates and times of upcoming games and other information that might be useful.
